Narrative
Set in the utopian Piltover and the oppressed underground of Zaun, the story follows the origins of two iconic League of Legends champions and the power that will tear them apart. Meet the actors behind some of your favorite animated films and series, including Ella Purnell in Arcane. Fortiche Productions made a music video for Riot called “Get Jinxed” in 2013. Riot was so impressed with the work that they commissioned Fortiche to make an animated series, which took several years to complete.

After the release of the first season, Riot announced that there would be a second season and that it would take less time to produce. I watched this with my parents who know nothing about the League universe. I’ve been playing League since 2010, so my opinion may be a little biased, but my parents were pleasantly surprised. They said it was a little obvious at times that this show was aimed more at a young adult audience. A few pop songs are used and the villain twirls his mustache a little over the top.
I loved it!
But overall, they enjoyed the first three episodes and would not hesitate to watch the rest at their leisure. It was everything I hoped it would be and more. Riot’s art department has always been at its best. And given Fortiche’s track record, I knew it was unlikely to fail.
Overall, this show was very well-made
Knowing Riot’s art department, I know there’s a great story, well-written characters, and a world full of stories to take elements from. And it showcases some of the best talent Riot has to offer. 9/10: Amazing. No need to waste time scrolling endlessly – here’s the full lineup of new movies and TV shows coming to Netflix this month.
